Working within the local Digital System Center (DSC) in Ratingen / Germany, you will be responsible for implementing business development strategies in line with global system strategy as well as market development for selected countries.

Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager CPP, you will prepare technical bids and coordinate sales activities, events and market research to meet business goals and increase market share. In addition, you are an important interface to the customer by visiting and consulting them.

Your responsibilities
  • Implementing the local go-to–market product marketing strategy and all marketing activities
  • Supporting and consulting sales organization in driving sales and services of respective products, providing relevant materials and expertise to them
  • Designing, calculating and bidding of station control and protection systems and networks based on inquiry documents
  • Defining appropriate forecasts and preparing business/marketing plans focused on business development for Control & Protection Products (CPP), focused on digital solutions
  • Evaluating and sharing customer research, market conditions and studies of other companies
  • Driving sales efficiency by delivering appropriate product knowledge information and training (technical and sales) for the sales team
Your background
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Profound knowledge of distributed automation systems and ethernet networks
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the field of Product Marketing / Sales / Product Management
  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German
