Denodo’s growing product portfolio demands a diverse Product Management team that helps set the strategy, roadmap and direction of the Denodo Platform for the coming years. As an Associate Product Manager with Denodo you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, including customers, sales teams and engineers, to define the direction of our cutting-edge product.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and has a good understanding of the software development process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to think strategically, and have a strong desire to learn.

The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Market watch: continued analysis of current and emerging software in the data ecosystem.
- Requirement gathering: discussions with customers and internal engineers about new features or enhancements to existing products
- Competitive intelligence: testing the capabilities of competing products and technologies to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Engagement with Engineering: close partnership with product development and customer success to understand and resolve customer needs.
Requirements:
- Native German speaker, fluent in English
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science.
- 3-5 years of work experience
- Hands-on experience working with data management platforms (relational databases, data lakes, data science, etc.)
- Willingness to travel around 20% of the time.
- Active listener, inquisitive and passionate about technology
- Solid verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with technical and business counterparts.
- Analytical and critical thinking capabilities to evaluate market trends
- Good organizational and time-management skills
Nice to have:
- Masters degree in a related field
- Customer facing experience
- Understanding of market trends, industry standards, and customer needs in the Business Intelligence and Data Science space
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze customer feedback
- Good understanding of SQL
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience coding in Java and/or Python
- Familiarity with APIs, REST and microservices
