What You Will Do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks of the team in a hands-on style and drive efficiencies

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, conducting flux analysis, ensuring accounts are reconciled and financial statements are accurate

• Prepare/review journal entries, conduct account reconciliations and oversee ledger-specific postings by team according to IFRS, Local GAAP and US GAAP

• Ongoing control, maintenance and reconciliation of the main and sub-ledgers

• Lead monthly bank reconciliations and cash forecasting

• Technical coordination, processing, maintenance and valuation of fixed assets in accordance with IFRS and local accounting policies

• Maintain accurate own-work capitalization schedules and monthly postings

• Coordinate with third party accounting firms to ensure a smooth month end close across different regions

• Conduct periodic VAT reporting/reconciliation and support tax team in providing supporting documentations for tax audits

• Supporting the audit process by preparing audit documents and providing accurate financial data respectively to auditors

• Participation in finance and accounting project automation and improvements

• Improve, optimize and standardize accounting processes across the media segment

What You Will Bring

• You are a trained international accountant (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or similar) and have a degree in Accounting or Finance

• You have strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP. Experience with ERP accounting systems (like NetSuite, Microsoft Navision/Business Central, etc.). Knowledge of HGB and Netsuite would be a plus

• You have a minimum of 5 years of operational accounting experience and leadership experience (3-5 team members)

• You are a hands-on team player and manager who thrives in a fast-paced international environment
