We’re hiring for EMEA Regional IT Operations and Support Lead - Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture.
This leadership role is to ensure their Regional IT teams deliver IT services and solutions to the region. These services equip the Corteva organization with sustainable work environments that drive improved productivity, enable work processes and enhanced collaboration.
Corteva IT Organization is thriving to optimize service delivery and operational excellence through its Regional IT team. This position exists under the Regional IT Operations and Support organization and is for the EMEA region.
Your Challenge:
- Engages directly with both geography leadership and global IT leadership with responsibility for delivery of IT services in the region.
- Serves as liaison between our regional stakeholders and IT and interfaces with Global IT Operations organization to deliver globally consistent services alongside needed locally specific services based on up-to-date regional requirements.
- Provides leadership for site implementation projects ensuring site/business needs are met while leveraging efforts to optimize effectiveness and leverage standard solutions
- Manages the stewardship and overall life-cycle management of regional IT platforms, software, and infrastructure and renew of the infrastructure at the sites, as applicable, in collaboration with the Global IT Operations organization.
- Responsible for local projects and deployments of global solutions in partnership with the IT global solutions/services teams with respect to local government /regulations.
- Drive governance of regional and local support vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and budgets.
- Manage regional day-to-day IT operational activities and make sure services are running 24x7
- Take accountability for planning and consumption of the Capital and Expense Budgets in the region, driving cost optimization and alignment to the global investment plan and strategy
- Manage with agility and compliance, all un-planned activities that needs to be executed locally.
- Drives the adoption of all IT Services including Security Services in the region
- Share and leverage best practices across the region and ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment of operational processes.
- Make sure processes and compliance practices followed are in line with Corteva’s policies and procedures; participate in audits as required
- Ensure communication at regional and local levels to inform IT and the business regarding regional operations changes in service including downtimes; communicate in local language as needed.
- Identify opportunities and technological gaps and continuously propose improvement of current practices, policies and procedures that result in an enhanced workflow, reduce costs, increase productivity and end-user satisfaction.
Location: EMEA / Switzerland / Location with other IT personal if possible
Qualifications
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
Competencies/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field
- Minimum 10-15 years of work experience in Information Technology or related experience required
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office and mobile computing devices is expected
- Knowledge of ServiceNow is expected
- This challenging role requires initiative, innovation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Knowledge of information systems terminology, concepts, and practices
Position requirements:
- Mature Leadership skills with ability to communicate and sustain relationships at a leadership level within the regional area of responsibility
- Adaptability (managing in a matrix environment)
- Strong interpersonal skills-leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of a cross-geographic environment
- Relevant domain experience, industry knowledge, supplier management
- Understand Corteva businesses and functions and enable IT services to add value to business and functions productivity and collaboration
Critical Experience
- Self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Ability to learn and continue to develop breadth within the Corteva IT organization
- Ability to build internal networks within the organization (both IT and business)
- Ability to educate suppliers into Corteva’s processes and expectations
- Ability to communicate and represent effectively the Corteva IT function within and outside the organization
- Ability to fully engage external vendors/suppliers and key strategic outsourcing partners
- Ability to develop/lead and influence people/teams to achieve results and identify opportunities and/or areas of improvement.
- Ability to engage the team, innovate, improve processes, share knowledge and experience
- Ability to work in cross functional projects and lead multidisciplinary programs
