Summary
For the Area "Optronical Sights" we are looking for an "Electronics/Software Developer (f/m/d)" at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible.

Within the development Area "Optronical Sights" different disciplines like software, optics, electronics and CAD are combined to develop high quality handheld optronic instruments. Our observing instruments combine information from multiple sensors operating at visible and infrared wavelengths to provide reliable information to the user under the most challenging conditions and to ensure mission success.
Your Tasks
  • Design, specification and development of analog and digital circuits with µ-controllers, switching regulators considering functional and economical requirements
  • Programming of µ-processor circuits (preferably in C language)
  • Creation of software test specifications, commissioning and testing of programmed products
  • Maintenance, support and further development of existing µ-processor related software
  • Creation of layouts and manufacturing documents with Altium Designer, taking into account EMC aspects
  • Ensuring that other topics such as documentation and configuration management are taken into account
  • Supervision and guidance of externally contracted developments
  • Participation in the conceptual development of optronic devices
  • Processing of tasks in an interdisciplinary team
  • Support of the production start-up as well as series support
Your Profile
  • Completed technical studies in the field of electronics, microelectronics, computer science or equivalent
  • Practical experience in circuit design and program generation for microprocessors, preferably ARM processors
  • Experience in coordinating and organizing tasks within a team
  • Experience in low power circuit design, preferably for battery powered devices
  • Very good programming skills in C as well as C++ advantageous
  • Knowledge in FPGA applications and/or image processing advantageous
  • Very good analytical skills as well as creative and solution-oriented way of working
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • High quality awareness, high personal responsibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Very good German and good English skills
