Eurodrone Programme – Shaping the future of UAS
With its groundbreaking industrial and commercial setup and its unique certification and flexibility, European Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) showcases how European industry can find innovative ways to support strategic autonomy needs and prepare for the Future Combat Air System. European MALE RPAS is not just the first programme to fully implement digital design manufacturing and services (DDMS). As EuroDrone Process Methods & Tools Manager you design and maintain the holistic architecture of business processes and Information Systems based on the EuroDrone program strategies, processes, information and common working environments (CWE). You link the business mission, strategy and processes to the Program PMT roadmap. You provide guidance, road maps, principles, standards and best practices in line with EuroDrone program Strategy. Furtheron you enable EuroDrone programme management and DDMS to make IT investment decisions that balance and prioritize current short-term operational demands and longer term strategic demands. You will also be responsible to set data standards for data systems as a model of the eventual interactions between those data systems (i.e. Data integration).
Your main tasks include:
Define & Control
- Capture and align the requirements from the EuroDrone-stakeholders of Engineering, Quality, Program Management
- Fulfil Production and Service & Support from all EuroDrone L1/PDTs for the end2end DDMS-solution (Digital Design, Manufacturing and Services) for EuroDrone and the CWE (common working environment).
- Manage and consolidate the EuroDrone DDMS/CWE requirements within the EuroDrone-DDMS/CWE blue plan (roadmap of required capabilities & PMT features).
- Support and validate the development of the EuroDrone-DDMS/CWE solution architecture together with the DDMS/ IM architects.
- Support and validate the development Orange plan of the EuroDrone-DDMS/CWE solution defining the deployment and roll out of the EuroDrone-DDMS & CWE solution bricks driving the standardization across EuroDrone L1/PDTs in terms of technical building blocks as well as procedural approaches, while enhancing re-use.
- Manage the risks of EuroDrone-DDMS solution deployment on the base of the EuroDrone-DDMS blue-orange plan.
Deploy & Extended Enterprise
- The jobholder is responsible for the deployment of common Airbus Process, Methods & Tools at the sites in line with Airbus integration and EuroDrone project requirements.
- Guarantee the effective use of deliverables throughout the EuroDrone development thus contributing to the cost and lifecycle reduction effort.
- Promote the use of EuroDrone & DDMS processes and methods among the EuroDrone actors including Extended Entreprise.
- Support training and communication plans, harmonizing practices among the sites.
- Ensure the extended enterprise for EuroDrone (MSC and subcontractors) is able to work with Airbus process, methods and tool in a collaborative manner ensuring that key programme milestones are met.
Operational follow up
- Define crisis plan and escalation for run mode issues
- Follow critical incidents and root cause analysis as well as solution improvement
- Anticipate PMT user ramp-up, data flow and data capacity
- Monitor Business perfomance and IT performance
The main objective will be to translate this Mission Statement into an integrated Process, Methods and Tools (PMT) landscape and roadmap with governance which ensures business continuity for all the EuroDrone L1/PDTs promoting a common set of Processes, Methods and Tools provides an operational set-up which involves all key stakeholders ensuring. Sustainable and cost efficient solutions for EuroDrone will be all Process, Methods and Tools (PMT) related to New Demands, Legacy Activities, improvement Initiatives. The driving principle of the PMT governance is collaboration and optimization.
You best fit for that position if you bring the following qualifications and competences:
- Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline
- Broad experience with PLM systems such as 3D Experience
- Experience with model based system engineering (MBSE)
- Broad experience in Programme and/or Project Management
- Experience in Airbus digital transformation project DDMS is desirable
- Ability to work independently in an international, multi-disciplinary team
- Work in a dynamic, evolving working environment
- Enjoy driving new ways of working and improving existing ones
- Good communication skills
- Language skills: English business fluent
