Microsoft Stores is the worldwide direct sales engine for Microsoft’s cutting-edge devices and services delivered directly to consumers, dual-users and commercial customers. Small and Medium Businesses (SMB), Education and Public Sector audience are a key target audience for Microsoft Stores, which is poised for significant growth in the next five years. To fuel our continued growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we are looking for a bright, customer obsessed, data driven and creative leader with e-commerce knowledge to join our team. In the role of the E-Commerce Manager Commercial you will own assisted and unassisted customer journeys for Microsoft Store. You deliver Go-to-Market strategies, support the launch of new products in the DACH region and improve the assisted and unassisted customer journey in order to grow the sales of our products (surface, mix reality). In addition you will be the Voice of the Customer providing insights to Corporate stakeholders, Segment and Product Groups to advocate for improvements in commercial product development, sales enablement tools & processes and customer shopping experience. You will also be the expert and go to person for the Online Commercial business in DACH.

Responsibilities

In your role as the E-Commerce Manager Commercial, you will focus on the following areas:
  • manage the business performance for your area of responsibility and present this in regular meetings on EMEA and Corporate level.
  • develop annual strategic growth plans and drive their execution to achieve revenue, profit and market share goals for Microsoft Store products (Hardware & Services).
  • pilot Device As A Service in EMEA, growing the commercial subscription online business for Microsoft.
  • Drive projects with the involvement of stakeholders from different functions and geos to improve processes with an impact on SLA and customer experience.
  • partner with site merchandising team to ensure a smooth launch of new products and services on our store front.
  • perform in-depth analysis and turn them into strategic insights, present these in convincing figures and turn them into action
  • seek out ways to automate and simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.
In this highly visible role, you will partner with executive leadership and stakeholders in EMEA and US to define the overall go to market strategy for SMB/Education/Public Sector audiences. Success in this role is dependent on deep value-add relationships with multiple internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

The right person comes with an E-Commerce background and proven experience in B2B sales, has strong analytical skills and is customer obsessed. In addition, you have strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Proven thought leadership and results-driven
  • experience in E-Commerce preferred
  • self-motivated, action-oriented with a sense of strong follow-through
  • strong analytical skills and a proven track record of taking ownership and leading data-driven analyses and decision making to support and grow a business
  • A track record of exceptional partnering across a wide-array of internal business groups, global stakeholders across different geos and organizational boundaries
  • The ability to drive complex projects, deal with ambiguity and be comfortable interacting with senior leaders and virtual teams, both internally and externally is essential in this role.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that is passionate about building businesses within a fast-paced environment, while changing the way customers perceive our brand and our products
  • A character that exemplifies Microsoft values including integrity, honesty, openness, personal excellence, constructive self-criticism, continual self-improvement, and mutual respect
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills in both English and German
