The position is ideally based in Germany (Offenburg or Filderstadt) with accountability for approximately 600 Team members across 8 locations in 6 different countries.

Under the PHES’ global strategy & direction, and reporting directly to the Motion Systems Group EMEA HR Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager and Division Management Team to ensure that business objectives are achieved. You will also build an HR team that can help develop and support the talent required for the business to be successful. You will be part of Motion Systems Group Europe’s HR team and will work with the appropriate Country HR Managers to ensure HR best practice for policy, procedure and processes are implemented.
  • To champion and support a ‘Safety First’ culture within the business.
  • To be a business partner to the General Manager and Division Management Team.
  • To lead the development of an organisation structure and talent management process that aligns to and enables the successful execution of The Win Strategy and Division plans.To champion the empowerment and engagement of team members via high performance teams and leaders.
  • To develop and implement appropriate HR practices aligned to Group, Division and local requirements across:
  • Change Management and Organisation Design
  • Sourcing and Selection
  • Learning and Development
  • Performance Management and Productivity
  • Talent Management and Succession Planning
  • Employee and Industrial Relations
  • Environmental, Health and Safety
  • Compensation, Systems and Benefits
  • A university Degree in a relevant field combined with significant experience in HR Management roles acquired in large, complex multinational environment.
  • Credible business leader who can demonstrate a broad business understanding and a contribution to enhancing organisational performance.
  • A good balance between sound strategic & operational mindset combined with high focus on results.
  • A good understanding of HR related laws in various countries and the ability to find creative solutions within legal frameworks and with the support of other country HR teams in a matrix organization.
  • A demonstrated successful track-record of change implementation in multicultural environments.
  • Deadline driven, able to communicate and influence at all levels.
  • Driving significant change through a structured approach to problem solving, organisational design and project management.
