For the development of our DevOps team, we are looking for new employees who, depending on their role in the team, will take care of our software, the operation as well as the support of our databases or the development of CI/CD.If you become part of our development team, you have the free choice of location. Decide whether you would like to work in Memmingen, Augsburg, Amberg, Rosenheim, Würzburg, Landshut or after a training period in a home office.These are your tasks
  • Building and optimizing our delivery pipeline
  • Migration of our software solutions to container or cloud solutions.
  • Recognition of optimization potential and automation of recurring tasks.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of data migrations between different database management systems (DBMS).
  • Introduction and documentation of new systems
  • Operation of software and databases on own hardware or in the cloud
  • Troubleshooting and error analysis in the event of operational disruptions
This is what you know
  • You have already worked in a DevOps team or have experience in a similar area (software development, IT operations)
  • You have a completed apprenticeship or a degree with a specialization in computer science / IT management or a comparable qualification in the required field
  • You have experience in dealing with relational databases and Linux
  • You have knowledge as well as experience in the use of current automation technologies and tools from the CI/CD area, such as Git, Jenkins.
  • You are versed in the use of container management tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • German language skills (B2/C1) are a prerequisite for this position
