The department IT Enterprise Platform Services is the partner when it comes to the planning and implementation of IT solutions as well as its operations. Our team Logistics cares for the IT systems and processes for all business units on a global level with respect to transportation and warehouse management as well as global trade services. To cope with the requirements in this area we especially rely on SAP products like SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), S/4HANA incl. Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). This job posting refers to tasks in the area of SAP Logistics Execution (LE), within Supply Chain Management those are Inventory, Delivery, Transportation, Warehousing and Yard Management.

  • In your new position you will at first contribute to our S/4 Hana journey with consultancy and hands-on implementation, later be responsible with the team for the solutions in LE
  • You will evaluate business demands with respect to functional and IT fit (as-is and strategic view)
  • You will develop and customize new functionalities or adapt existing ones, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives, efficiency and scalability
  • You will implement and maintain integrations between SAP LE and other relevant systems to ensure seamless data flow
  • You will utilize programming languages such as ABAP to create and modify SAP programs, reports, and interfaces
  • You will contribute to operations with C-Level expertise
  • You will keep yourself up-to-date with market solutions and IT-trends and share that knowledge with your environment
  • You provide solution & technology consulting, actively partner and collaborate with internal and external business partners during requirement gathering and project execution
  • You foster a culture for improvements and innovations by driving Covestro´s C3 values

What youoffer

  • You have a university degree in computer science, business informatics, other related studies or equivalent qualifications
  • You can demonstrate experience with SAP LE and have excellent technical as well as business process knowledge in this area, including to related logistics topics and modules like TM, MM, SD
  • You possess good knowledge about ABAP and/or other programming languanges
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You have experience working in agile teams and have outstanding analytical and strategic skills
  • You are open-minded, communicate and interact professionally with internal and external colleagues of diverse cultures and benefit from this collaboration
  • Business fluent English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
