The opportunity

We are looking for an Experience Manager for EY’s wavespace EMEIA team. This team works directly with over 15 wavespace centres across EMEIA to co-create client experiences and support their development.

EY wavespace is about people and business outcomes. We design immersive programs that bring the right people together, giving them the mindset and collaborative tools to think differently. These days we are doing this both virtually, in-person, and blended sessions for clients around the world.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • An Experience Manager understands what excellent design looks like, how to articulate a client’s vision and the roadmap to get there and has experience in consulting. They are ultimately responsible for:
  • Day-to-day client relationship and wavespace team direction
  • End-to-end delivery of wavespace experience(s)
  • Identifying the right staff mix for any given experience
  • Developing and maintaining financials across the entire experience timeline
  • Detailed responsibilities include:
  • Primary day-to-day interface to wavespace customer taking accountability for all aspects of planning and delivering the session
  • Ensure a consistent wavespace design experience using approved and methodologies and best practices
  • Manage session scope, estimates and actual costs
  • Manage staffing of all required session personnel
  • Provide direction and performance feedback to the production team
  • Create resource/hours scoping (costing)
  • Manage cadence of calls with client Sponsor Design Team
  • Oversee logistics, technical setup, etc.
  • Oversee session documentation, ensure successful close out
  • Manage account team and delivery team stakeholders as part of the session design
  • Successful delivery of simple to complex sessions across a wide array of industries
  • Manage Independence, quality and staffing for sessions
  • Generate additional leads and follow-up wavespace opportunities with stakeholders
  • Leverage creative problem-solving skills and the ability to compromised across the needs of the client, account team and design team

Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Advanced degree in Design Thinking preferred; 5-8 years professional experience
  • Ability to quickly understand different client objectives and use creative problem-solving skills to translate objectives into engaging workshops
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders (internally and with clients)
  • Excellent lead facilitation and communication skills (and enthusiasm for investigating and learning new facilitation techniques)
  • Experience using design thinking and working in agile teams
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills
  • Strong business knowledge of one (or more) industry sector

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Experience using (and a passion for) interactive technology and collaboration tools
  • A curious mindset and the ability to drive innovation
  • A background in bringing together multiple parties to work together to architect solutions and ideas which engage clients
