Ashoka identifies and supports the world’s leading social entrepreneurs, and learns from the patterns in their innovations. Building on 40 years of experience, we unite to create a world where everyone can embrace their agency, live with dignity, has the skills to solve problems, and creates positive change for the good of all.
ABOUT CHANGEMAKERS UNITED The pandemic sheds a special light on broken societal systems. Hence, besides responding to the urgent needs our societies have in tackling the pandemic (i.e. healthcare), social entrepreneurs around the world aim to shape the new reality and focus on transforming educational models, embracing new formats of work, empower communities to improve their livelihoods and drive change. Changemakers United is Ashoka‘s global initiative formed to respond to the pandemic. We aim to accelerate systems changing solutions emerging across these fields: healthcare, education, economic inclusion, environment and civic participation by helping and supporting social entrepreneurs from these sectors in Europe, Africa, India and Latin America.
