What would be your mission?

So far, Planetly has mostly been focusing on CO2 management. However, due to increased requests from our customers and the upcoming EU Sustainable Finance legislation, we have started to develop an ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) software solution. We are now looking for an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong ESG background to bring our initiative to the next level.

  • You take full responsibility for developing our ESG offer, including:
  • Software-based value proposition for our core segments (Financial Services, Software, Professional Services, and later Manufacturing and Consumer Goods)
Implementation of key ESG frameworks and Planetly positioning (incl certification for frameworks if necessary)
Partnership strategy (e.g., consultancies, other software providers, coverage of legal aspects)
Product development strategy (together with our product, engineering, sales and industry teams)
  • You will work closely with the product team to define the requirements and go-to-market strategy for the ESG software
  • You will build and grow your own team that will deliver the (non-product side of the) solution
  • You work closely with our sales teams to enable them to expand the pipeline for our ESG products
Who is our best match?

  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience as a consultant, strategic advisor or practitioner with clear ESG focus
  • You have experience in digital business models and/or agile software development
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and know how to grow a business
  • You have shown you can work in a team and deliver results together on time
  • You have great communication skills, with the ability to speak and present information with confidence in front of an audience, lead and influence client workshops and represent Planetly at industry events
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a capacity to produce well-presented, accurate results
  • You have a university degree (Bachelor and/or Master) and are fluent in English (C1, C2), and comfortable in German
