KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Site Dedicated Support Engineer (DSE): Resource(s) to provide below described services for specific hub or remote sites.

Computer, IT Infrastructure, Hardware Management and Support Services: Support for core services necessary to support COMPANY’s labs or remote site operating systems management, software distribution, endpoint security services, centralized request / service ticket logging, and end-user support. CONTRACTOR leverages monitoring tools and processes, and technical expertise to proactively monitor and manage the health and wellbeing of COMPANY’s Information Technology (“IT”) infrastructure in labs and remote site locations.

• Field Engineering and Workshop Repair: When SERVICES are required in the field for incidents not able to be solved with system access or collaboration tools/phone, DSE may be required to be called/dispatched (on- or off-hours) to COMPANY hub and remote sites to attend to IT, network, device issue resolution.

Enhanced Services (IMAC): CONTRACTOR manages COMPANY supplied procedures and checklists for installations, de-installations and changes (IMAC – Incident, move, Add, Change). Processes are provided or enhanced by the DSEs or via established documentation.

ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM): COMPANY provides governance and tooling/infrastructure via use of tooling (ServiceNOW) for recording and addressing various IT inventory, requests, incidents, changes, etc.

Projects: CONTRACTOR DSE resources will provide support services for hub and remote sites for various project activities as defined by the sites (IT infrastructure, network, labs environments, warehousing, etc.) as requested by COMPANY for preplanned and scheduled projects when requested.

Ad-Hoc and As-Required Services: COMPANY will request or require ad-hoc and as-needed services from CONTRACTOR DSE resources, which may or may not be known or well documented. Resources will provide the services in the best way possible via the use and efforts of the set of skills each DSE is capable of.
