The Mainz-Kostheim plant with its 530 employees is one of the biggest sites of Essity worldwide and supplies the market with a variety of hygiene paper products, predominantly products of the TORK brand which are produced on 3 paper machines and 13 connected converting machines.

About the Role

The Site Controller will be responsible for coordination and ongoing development of all controlling processes for the site.

For our site in Mainz-Kostheim we are currently looking for a Site Controller (f/m/d)in full-timeand regular contract. In this role you will report directly to the Site Manager.

What You Will Do

• Providing concise financial and operational reporting, analyses, support and advice to the site

• Being Consultant and sparring partner for the Site Leadership Team regarding all financial issues

• Leading and supporting the forecast and budget process for the site, both short term and long term

• Conduct gap analyses and strategically develop site CBN

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Balance Sheets in accordance with local GAAP and IAS

• Coordinating the Capex process for the site including preparation of investments requests

• Securing and controlling expenses and inventories as well as administer company insurances

• Developing and implementing accounting and reporting rules which comply with Essitys internal control requirements, and ensuring effective resolution of instances of non-conformance

• Identifying, leading and supporting continuous improvement activities in a proactive manner

• Actively driving and promoting cost consciousness on site

• Liaising with different internal stakeholders – inside and outside the plant - building a network and showing openness for regional tasks within the medical Controlling team

• Challenging the status quo and actively driving change management

Who You Are

• University degree in economics or equivalent

• Several years of financial controlling experience within production environment, preferably in international and / or matrix organizations

• Experience in line management

• Eagerness to challenge the status quo

• Very good German and English language skills and capacity to communicate to different stakeholders

• Ability to get results in a matrix organization and collaborate in teams

• Experience in working with SAP-CO

• Very good knowledge in Excel
