Due to the increasing growth of AECOM Europe, we are now seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Business Partner to enhance our service offering across our key market sectors in Germany to include: Transport, Environment, Buildings and Places and Corporate.

Reporting to the TA Lead for Western Europe, the key aim of this role will be to deliver a fast and effective service to the business and provide innovative recruitment solutions to hire the best talent on time and in budget. You will become a key member of the established Western Hub Acquisition team, so you won’t be alone, we have a great team ethos and attitude, and we work closely with our wider HR colleagues and business managers.

The full life cycle process will consist of working with hiring manager to refine their job descriptions, providing candidates for open requisitions, identifying, and sourcing candidates, guiding candidates through our recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. You will take a consultative approach with the business on hiring decisions, chairing feedback sessions with hiring managers and working on the development of offers and negotiating with candidates on behalf of AECOM.

In this role, you will work directly with HR Business Partners and Business Stakeholders across your sector on talent planning and recruitment. You will develop strong relationships across the organisation working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Job Duties:
+ Consult with the business on staffing strategy, hiring, and sourcing trends

+ Provide an extensive breadth of market knowledge and expertise of talent acquisition process and strategies

+ Participate in business meetings to stay up to date on what is happening in the line of business and geography in terms of new business, projects that are ending and skills needed

+ Actively participate in recruitment meetings with the team and the stakeholders

+ Optimise job postings for marketability for internal and external positions

+ Utilise all sourcing tools available and providing innovative ideas on sourcing strategies when required.

+ Screen and interview candidates, create the candidate funnel on requisitions to provide the hiring manager with a choice of candidates

+ Participate in recruiting events when required

+ Actively take part in panel interviews ensuring best practice is always adhered to

+ Work with Universities to promote our brand and job vacancies

+ Represents AECOM and business lines to external partners

+ Participate in recruiting events when required

+ Supports the Talent Acquisition Manager on ad hoc projects as and when required

+ Optimises job postings for marketability for internal and external positions

+ Utilises all sourcing tools available and providing innovative ideas on sourcing strategies when required.

+ Screens and interviews candidates, creates the candidate funnel on requisitions to provide the hiring manager with a slate of candidates by reviewing applications and pre-screening interviews

+ Prepares candidates for interviews by supplying as much information as possible about AECOM

+ Provides extensive breadth of market knowledge and expertise of talent acquisition process and strategies

Minimum Requirements

+ Fluent in English and German

+ In-house recruitment experience at a senior level

+ Extensive demonstrable stakeholder management experience

+ Track record in exceptional recruitment delivery of Project Managers, Engineers, Environment consultants

+ Experience attracting technical/niche talent via social media

+ Ability to influence and advise stakeholders on recruitment strategy and methodology

+ Solutions and data driven approach

+ Proven track record of championing and promoting diversity and inclusion within the recruitment lifecycle.

+ Experience of building strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and candidates

+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Client facing

+ Able to deal with high pressure situations in alignment with AECOM’s behaviour model.

+ Systems savvy and ability to learn quickly - (such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, workday and Smart Recruiters)

Preferred Qualifications

+ Use of Kenexa Brassring and/or Workday/Smart Recruiter

+ Strategic Workforce planning experience

+ Fluency in French, German or Italian

+ Experience in Consultancy, Design, Engineering, Construction
