Job Description

The YF hosting/EUC services are the following:
  • Virtual desktop infrastructure and virtualized application (VMWare Horizon)
  • Neuss HQ computer room management
  • Physical and virtual hosting management (VMWare vSphere + vSAN + vCenter)
  • x86 & Linux OS server management
  • Incident and change management
  • IT service management per ITIL concept
  • Remote office infrastructure management (for selection of small offices in EMEA region)
The hosting/EUC engineer will assume tasks and responsibilities of as per the following listing. He / she will be member of a global team of architects and engineers managing services in our data centers and production plant computer rooms. The typical duty is a blend of engineering and operations and is imperative for service uptime, fast restore, standard compliance and timely deployment of requests when the automotive business is highly agile and quality focused.

Typical Duties For The Hosting/EUC Services
  • Maintain knowledge level for all listed technologies to ensure smooth and flawless operations
  • Ensure service and infrastructure availability by monitoring devices in field, analysis of abnormalities observed and incident resolution
  • Ensure smooth and fast change deployment followed by testing in collaboration with other IT teams (regional and on-site IT teams) contact to sign off for change completion
  • Incident escalation along YF incident management process and timing to ensure no unnecessary delays on problem resolution
  • Ensure services continuity by backing up to hosting engineer in other region during holidays and other times of absence
  • Operate all infrastructure components in a number of small offices assigned in EMEA region (server, network, BUR and others
  • Follow ITIL methodology during service design, build, implementation and operations
  • Support non-IT business stakeholders on infrastructure design for new applications requests
Qualification/Requirement
  • bachelor degree or above, major in Computer Science, Information Management or other related
  • above 5 years IT professional experience with, at least, 2 years work experience on operating / managing IT infrastructure
  • master the technical knowledge in the field of virtualization, server, windows, linux, communication and IT hardware with profound working experience
