As Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d), you support the development of Java EE and cloud-native solutions. You are responsible for the translation of business requirements into software modules and components. Primarily, you are in charge of the advancement of our products in terms of technical design and implementation of backend components.

You optimize our application with regard to code quality and stability. You observe new trends in your domain and evaluate them regarding possible quality and efficiency improvements. As part of an international team, you accompany our product throughout its entire lifecycle: from the idea through the different phases of implementation to delivery and continuous improvement. Working closely with product management, you create solutions and effectively contribute your experience to our development team.

  • You advance our product in terms of technical design and implementation of backend components
  • You contribute your expertise in all phases of development and guide less experienced teammates
  • You are responsible for translating business requirements into software modules and components
  • You are in charge of implementation activities throughout the entire lifecycle of our product

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the development of modern backend solutions
  • You have advanced knowledge in backend development with Java 8
  • You already have experience with automated testing
  • You enjoy developing in a team and are proud when your commits go through the pipeline successfully
  • You have initial experience with cloud-native solutions
  • You are enthusiastic about software development and want to take on new challenges
  • You are able to think analytically and work in a solution-oriented and independent manner
  • You have very good command of German and English (company language)
  • You enjoy working in a hybrid working model (at least one day each week in our office)
