The position is located in the Lead Identification Department within the Therapeutic Modalities function, where the discovery of next generation biotherapeutics is the primary focus. We closely collaborate with therapeutic areas and other functions to convert therapeutic hypotheses into innovative therapeutics.
Job mission
We are offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced science and matrix leader to work with a highly engaged team of screening and automation specialists. You will actively participate in the High Throughput screening of next generation antibody-based therapeutics. In close collaboration with other functions in the discovery unit, you will also be involved in the conception, development, and implementation of future platforms for functional biotherapeutics screening.
Your impact
- Supporting pRED´s large molecule portfolio by leading advanced high throughput biotherapeutics screening projects
- Enabling the development and implementation of next generation screening platforms and their integration into discovery workflows
- Nurturing trustful relationships and effective collaboration with internal and external partners
- You inspire people to think bold, to innovate, collaborate and create great outcomes that matter for our patients and partners. You know how to prioritize, how to create clarity and focus
- You have a PhD in Life Sciences and significant professional experience (>5 years) in drug discovery, specifically in the field of large molecule therapeutics, either in the biotech or pharma industry
- You have direct experience in biologics screening and automation, and a keen interest in working with modern High Throughput functional screening methods, including microfluidics and single cell technologies
- You are resourceful and flexible in problem solving and in working in a collaborative and inclusive manner with strong oral and written communication skills
