Your Tasks:
- To plan, coordinate and execute all the tasks to achieve the Design Cycle of the project in respect to safety standards and prescription
- To be integrated in project team and to collect the evidences to prepare the project Safety Case.
- To be interface with Safety Assessors and coordinate the collection of necessary inputs and documents to achieve the Certification
- To develop safety plans and prepare all activities required to provide assurance subsystems satisfies safety requirements in accordance with the company internal procedures, applicable safety standards
- To identify hazards and perform risk analysis, including PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, FMECA, FTA and OSHA
- To support SIL allocation
- To establish and maintain the project hazard log
- To identify and review the system safety requirements in case of modifications
- To ensure and support the tasks performed by the project team (including design, verification and test) in compliance with internal company processes and applicable safety standards
- To review the system implementation (HW+SW) vs safety requirements
- To ensure the recording of hazard logs, non-conformities
- To support mitigation or closure of hazards through elimination or risks or mitigation measures
Your Profile:
- Completed Degree in Mechanics/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering or a related qualification
- Good experience in the Rail Industry
- Good knowledge of CENELEC norms, IEEE standards
- Good experience with hazard identification and analyses (FTA, FMEA, PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, OSHA) and safety architectures
- Knowledge of Regulation 402/2013
- Knowledge of Requirement engineering: management, traceability, configuration management
- Your communication skills are:
- Certified B2 Minimum B2 (C1 as preferred) in German – mandatory
- Fluent in English
