Quality Engineer Operations (m/w/d)

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer Operations (m/w/d)to expand and support the advancement of our product portfolio. In our Munich plant your daily tasks will be related to ensuring quality and compliance of manufacturing processes and sustaining R&D activities within dedicated projects. Furthermore, you will contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes, ensuring that we meet our superior mission which is “patients first”.

Tasks
  • Independently handles defective products and CAPAs and is able to perform root cause analysis using common methods and in cooperation with subject matter experts.
  • Performs data analysis (production data, complaint data...) to identify trends and proposes product and process improvements.
  • Ensures proper execution of risk management activities.
  • Supports functional departments in process and test method validations, both in the context of new product development and series production.
  • Supports functional departments in product verification activities, both in the context of new product development and in the context of design change.
  • Ensures compliance with internal and / or external specifications and standards (e.g. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma)
  • Utilizes Lean 6-Sigma tools to improve internal processes of the department
Profile
  • Engineering degree, preferably in the field of mechatronics/electronics/electrical engineering or comparable practical experience
  • First experience (at least 2 years) in medical technology, ideally in a manufacturing company
  • First experience in at least one of these areas: quality planning, design transfer, NCR / CAPA, process - test method validation
  • Basic knowledge in the field of statistics, esp. inferential statistics
  • Basic knowledge of databases and knowledge of a programming language, are a strong plus.
  • Good knowledge of German and English (at least B2) required
