trivago’s FinTech team is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineerto join our team! Our team is responsible for both the financial and organizational tool portfolios at trivago. We connect, maintain, and develop solutions to empower our talents. We are looking for a We’re looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented and proactiveQA expert to join us!

How you’ll make an impact:(tasks/skill story)

  • Be responsible for manual activities and automated testing.
  • Collaborate closely with our Software Delivery Team ensuring the quality of product increments throughout the Software Development Process.
  • Empower and help the team validate and refine new ideas by suggesting design improvements or corrections throughout the development process.
  • Contribute during the planning and coordination of new software releases.


Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Experience testing cloud-based services
  • Good knowledge of SQL and common web standards.
  • Experience with Deployment Pipelines and CI/CD Processes.
  • Agile Mindset in terms of values and principles.
  • Experience in working with containers, such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc

What makes you stand out:(Optional: Only when necessary to make distinction)

  • Familiar with Postman, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Familiarity with Azure, PHP, C#, Node.js.
  • Experience in finance-related projects.
