Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

Responsabilities
  • Business partner within/without finance for all commercial topics including review of quotes and contracts
  • Understand project profitability and being able to impact the value drivers over entire Product lifetime
  • Compare / Track current project performance / Global Product Line performance vs. contract, Gap Analysis
  • Strategic Margin FCST for Global Product Line
  • Work on Reporting for commercial details on different levels/Global Product Lines
  • Prepare complex Ad Hoc Analytics
  • Presentation of project financials / Global Product Line Financials to Senior Management
  • Work on special projects
  • Pro active involvement in cross functional Lean initiatives
Profile
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics or Business Engineering
  • several years of experience working in Controlling and/or Project environment
  • Automotive Product / Process knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience in working with SAP and MS Office
  • Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify risk and opportunities
  • Ability to influence and transform data into actionable information
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
