Product Development Engineer

Execution of development activities of different development programs (joints and propeller shafts)

Review and maintenance of existing development results

Support of the development manager

Cooperation in change management according to GKN Change Management

Contribution to research activities on the state of the art

Support with phase C and D problems

Scope For Action And Decision-making
  • Conduct development activities; make technical decisions in consultation with supervisor.
  • Technical guidance of employees from other departments (e.g. testing, prototyping)
  • Triggering of demand requests up to 1000,- €
  • Submitting project applications over 1000,- €
Cooperation

Collaboration within GPPC’s and the following areas:
  • Calculation
  • construction
  • Prototype construction (PCC)
  • test
  • manufacturing
  • Process development (TMDM)
  • Development departments at other GKN sites
Qualifications / Experience / Skills

University (Bachelor) degree in Engineering

Very good written and verbal communication skills

Good language knowledge in English and German (essential)
