Mechanics (m/f/d) for replacing large components on wind turbines

(Completed vocational training as mechanic (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or similar)

Your Tasks

  • Replacing large components such as gearboxes, generators, transformers, rotor blades or main bearings throughout Germany
  • Setting up the construction site
  • Preparation of the components as well as slinging loads
  • Assembly and disassembly using torque and bolting technology
  • Crane instruction by radio
  • Carrying out repairs and inspections
  • Troubleshooting if necessary
  • Documentation

Your Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as mentioned above
  • Experience in the assembly of wind turbines or in the replacement of large components preferred
  • Safe handling of cable winches
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Driving license at least class B
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to travel
  • A strong mindset for the topic of occupational safety
