In your new role you will:

• Define the tool infrastructure from complete workflows down to single tool feature level for future Infineon automotive microcontroller
• Lead and conducttechnical benchmarking activitiesfor tools
• Take ownership for the definition and execution of proof of concepts
• Lead technical discussions with hardware and tool vendors, including compiler vendors
• Act as a mentor for internal expert teams on current and future market trends and tools
• Be a guide and adviser for the roadmap planning for the technical marketing activities

This job is suitable for full- and part-time.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in technical studies like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, preferably a PhD
• At least 8 years of professional experience in the field of automotive tool development for embedded softwareand proven ability to take leadership in you field of expertise
• Experience and understanding on instruction set architectures including SIMD/Vector extensions of different CPU architectures
• Expertise in automotive development workflows, modelling and code generation
• Deep technical understanding of AI frameworks, CPU and compiler benchmarking as well as profound knowledge on compilers and different programming languages
• Extensive knowledge with different CPU cores like ARM, ARC, RISC-V, Tricore, etc.
• Good communication and collaboration skills in English

Furthermore the key application segments are targeting segments with high innovation potential and highest market growth such as Advanced driver Assistant systems. As part of the automotive business unit the focus of MC is on the requirements of the automotive market from motor cycle to truck applications.
