The department Risk Analytics, Provisioning & Steering at Daimler Mobility Headquarters provides and maintains standardized methods for credit risk reserve setting in accordance with IFRS 9 and is also responsible for the monthly calculation of credit risk reserves, for risk steering and reporting for the Daimler Mobility entities.

Major tasks in the team Global Risk Analytics & Reporting are the development, enhancement and maintenance of risk reporting and analysis for the global Daimler Mobility (DMO) portfolio. This comprises the ongoing monitoring of our portfolio with focus on credit risk, development and enhancement of risk analysis methods and tools and the information of Board of Management, regions, entities and other stakeholders on risk development and risk trends.

Within the team you will be involved in the project for the seperation of Mercedes Benz and Daimler Trucks as well as into the regular report creation process and contribute to recurrent and ad-hoc risk analysis tasks. One of your focus tasks will be analyzing and reporting the risk situation of large single customers within the DMO portfolio. For this purpose you will coordinate the data submission from various entities and ensure consistent data quality. You will aggregate the information into several reports and make them available to main stakeholders. You will be involved in the maintenance of tools used in the regular report creation and distribution process including code adjustments. You will be involved in the risk analysis process and prepare comments on current risk situation and trends. You will improve the existing reporting process and reporting templates and develop innovative reporting solutions.

Your Tasks Will Be
  • Coordination of data submission from all DMO entities globally
  • Project support for the seperation of Mercedes Benz and Daimler Trucks
  • Communication with entities ensuring timely and accurate data submission
  • Gathering and preparing data to be used in the risk reporting and analysis process
  • Ensuring consistency, plausibility and completeness of reported data
  • Creation and distribution of reports on a regular basis
  • Troubleshooting and developing report creation tools
  • Participation in risk monitoring and analysis process
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis requests
  • Involvement in creating presentations for the higher management
  • Improving reporting and analysis tools



Qualifications
  • Studies in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics or similar
  • Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and preferably also in German
  • Experience with MS-Office, basic programming skills in VBA and knowledge of SQL will be looked on favourably
  • Positive attitude and organization skills
  • Experience as intern / working student within a Bank/ Financial Services company in the area of risk management or a related field is a plus
