TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Implementation Manager BIM & Systems Engineering at our locations Arnhem or Bayreuth who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT

As a implementation manager BIM/SE you will drive the implementation of Building Information Modelling & Systems Engineering and in general Standardization in the Project Standards and Design department. TenneT has a clear goal towards digitalization, standardization, BIM and SE and is continuously developing, updating and implementing these ways of working. Digitalisation, standardisation and systems engineering will help TenneT to deliver more assets faster. Several initiatives within the asset chain must be connected and translated into smart ways of working within the chain. The implementation manager BIM/SE will take the department and its chain partners further in these developments.

You will work together with many internal and external stakeholders and will be leading the department towards the future vision to work in a standardised and digitalised environment together with our chain partners.

Tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Define departments vision for Building Information Modelling, Systems Engineering, standardization and digitalization.
  • Lead the implementation of digitalization, standardization, BIM and SE ways of working in our department – both in Germany and the Netherlands.
  • Connect and contribute to the existing BIM / SE working groups in TenneT and ensure alignment and safeguard the stakes of Asset Management.
  • Lead the department towards the change into the future vision.
  • Identify, develop and implement BIM, SE-, standardization- and digitalization capabilities that support the AMT-PM-P colleagues in their daily work.
  • Be an ambassador for BIM, SE, digitalization and standardization.
  • Act as expert and actively contribute as knowledge carrier.

Your profile and background

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor or master degree in engineering or a comparable discipline.
  • Experience regarding standardization (requirements, design, process), preferable in the high voltage domain.
  • At least 5 years of experience and/or education in the field of systems engineering.
  • Verifiable experience with the use and management of digital libraries.
  • You see where improvements are possible and you lead the way in implementing them.
  • You are a self-starter and able to be leading this topic for the department
  • You are dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated, you take responsibility
  • Experience with ISO 55000 Asset Management and/ or IEC 15288 Systems Engineering, and/or ISO 19650 BIM
  • Fluent in Dutch or German and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are interested in working in a team and are willing to travel (to TenneT office in Arnhem or Bayreuth approximately 2 times a week and a few times per year to TenneT offices in German or Netherlands).
