Your profile

• University degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or mathematics/physics
• At least 3+ years of experience in relevant field.
• Experience in mechatronic systems engineering and function / feature development, knowledge about braking system is a big plus
• Experience with model-based development
• Solid knowledge of requirements management and system- and software architecture
• Excellent analytical skills to understand and analyse causal connections within the brake system, as well as in its environment
• Training and knowledge on Automotive-SPICE and Functional Safety appreciated (ISO/IEC15504 and IEC61508 / ISO26262)
• Team player with good communication skills
• Fluent in English and German is a plus

Your tasks

• Contribute to mass production as well as advanced projects in Chassis Controls
• Your focus will be the system development of electronic brake systems
• You will become the engineering interface to our customers and be the linkage between software and hardware development
• Support customer requirement analysis for series production projects as well as for advanced technology projects
• Understand and structure customer requirements to develop them into a product
• You will work in a global team, interfacing with functional safety, cyber security, controls algorithm developers as well as test and validation experts
• Establish a reliable relation with HQ design teams and customers
• Support new business development in Europe
• Review RFQ material for vehicle control function content
• Report and support reporting and business planning
