For our location in Karlsruhe we are looking for a
HR Manager, Germany
The position is for a temporary timeframe from 1st December 2021 until 1st June 2022.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide support to employees and managers for all HR related matters across the employee cycle - on-boarding to moving on
- Ensure all new hire processes are fully completed including employment documents and records, payroll liaison, benefits enrollment and self service access and set up.
- Build structured on boarding plans (for HR and the business) with touch points and reviews to ensure the new joiner is set for success.
- Partner with the new joiner during the first week’s to ensure they have a clear ‘go to’ for HR related questions and guidance.
- Initiate change processes during the employment cycle (transfers, promotions, compensation reviews) ensuring approvals, updates and communication are executed.
- Listen to employee and manager feedback, ideas and concerns. Provide analysis and insight on employee’s experience throughout their time with us.
- Advising managers on employee’s personal development, organizing training for employees (both group trainings and individual trainings).
- Liaising with payroll service providers to ensure monthly pay changes are accurate and on time:
- passing commission/bonus/salary increase information
- passing any employee changes, sicknesses or other payroll relevant events
- liaise with benefits brokers on any benefit changes.
- Work closely with other HR Business Partners, the HR Shared Services team and theRecruitment team.
- You are assisting employees with their visas applications (UK & Germany)
- Maintaining a solid knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and partnering with outside counsel as and when needed/required
- You are the Security Officer in Germany and with that responsible for:
- You are the point of contact for our Data Security Officer on compliance matters
- Responsible for maintaining our Employee Guidebook and policies together with the global HR team.
- Partnering with the office manager to organize employee events
- Working with wider HR community on global HR projects
- Degree in Human Resources or any other equivalent background
- 1-3 years’ experience as HR Generalist or in an equivalent role
- Solid knowledge of the German Employment Law
- Excellent English communication (oral, written) skills
- Ability to build long-term, trusting relationships with employees, managers and HR colleagues
- You have a confident appearance and very good communication skills
- Highly energetic and a passion to drive for results
- Ability to work effectively in a team, manage conflict, and build trust
- Ability to work independently, take proactive action and deliver results
- Experience working in a global organization with a distributed workforce is a plus
