Our customer is the central service partner of a globally operating medium-sized group with over 5,000 employees worldwide. The service unit supports all national and international affiliates with services from the HRM domain, among others. Above all, with international services, projects and change management, support for the Group’s growth and the digitization of the HR function, the service company is responsible for an important transformation task in shaping the future. In this context, further international team expansion is a key success factor. For this reason, the position newly created in this form, is now to be expanded and strengthened with a focus on the domain ’HR Services & Projects.

Tasks

Reporting directly to the Managing Director HR and as a member of the senior management team, the HR Manager International ’(f/m/d)’ has responsibility for an international assigned team. The special challenge of this position is the exciting mix of further developing standard processes in saturated markets as well as establishing and expanding methods and structures in new countries and their support in operational HR topics.
  • Disciplinary and functionally leadership of a HR team; develop team-members of actual HR Business Partners and specialists for a better support of the Country Managers, Managing Directors etc.
  • Actively support the further growth (organic and M&A) of the enterprise and in post-merger activities
  • Be a proactive coach and advisor for the leadership team and Country Managers in their personal development, organizational and people development
  • Initiate and roll-out HR projects per country such as new guidelines, features as well as benchmarking projects – under review of relevant KPI´s
  • Review and manage day-to-day business of international HR, troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Overtake and lead global analysis and (re-)design of HR processes to ensure best results for the business
  • Record and analyze relevant HR key figures to deliver insights and opinion to the management for strategic progress
  • Develop people/HR KPI dashboards and create ad-hoc analyses to support the organization in its steering efforts
  • Plan and be responsible for the execution of HR projects for process and system optimization and be passionate about driving the HR digitization strategy for your area of responsibility
Requirements

We are looking for an agile, modern and experienced HR professional with:
  • At least 8 years of international HR-experience (e.g. as a local HR Manager and cross border project manager or BU Senior HR Business Partner in an international company)
  • Solid experience in leading and building teams
  • Good relationship & stakeholder management skills
  • High resilience and the ability to deal with dynamics and challenging targets while being a good team developer
  • Business fluent English and international exposure (German and other languages is a plus)
  • Great initiative and solution orientation
