Your New Role...

As part of our People & Culture team, you will mainly support the Senior People Partner in all relevant HR topics for the location in Cologne Nippes with around 500 employees as well as other WBD in-house productions. The implementation and compliance with the global guidelines of Warner Bros. Discovery is part of your tasks along with the support of HR topics such as performance appraisal, training and development, our corporate culture, various HR projects and KPI tracking.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Support the Senior People Partner, in particular with administrative tasks (including onboarding/offboarding, contract management, job descriptions, certification)
  • Personnel support and administration for a defined group of employees (including recruiting)
  • Assists Production People Partner team by providing project coordination support on HR initiatives across DACH region working closely with People Solutions, COEs, and HRS, as required
  • You are the first point of contact for the HR department as well as the main contact person for apprentice training and trainee planning
  • You work closely with the Payroll Team regarding system-relevant data processing and quality
  • Maintaining HR master data in HRIS (SAGE and Workday), including absences and compensation
  • You will prepare regular reports on KPI figures and assist in HR meetings with managers
  • You train managers and employees on updates and module enhancements to HRIS
  • Continuous review and further development of HR processes in coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Internal interface with Employee Connection (EC) regarding customization needs and data review in Workday
  • Provide technical support for malfunction reports in Sage and collaborate with external service providers
  • You will assist in conducting annual salary reviews (TRP), performance management, and succession planning
  • The creation and revision of production guidelines, HR documents, presentations and manuals is also part of your duties

Qualifications & Experience...

  • You already have relevant work experience in a similar function, preferably in human resources
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, ideally Sage and/or Workday
  • You work proactively, independently and as part of a team
  • Your service mentality is strong, combined with a healthy self-confidence
  • You enjoy interacting and communicating with diverse groups of people
  • You are able to work under pressure and are flexible in creating solution ideas
  • You are fluent in German and have advanced English skills
