Job Purpose
Reporting to the Astound’s Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) the HRBP will provide strategic leadership of the DACH Regional HR function, policies and processes in order to drive growth and maximize achievement of regional business goals.
This individual is responsible for the identification of the HR services and projects that are most critical to business performance as well as ensuring the effective coordination of delivery of HR support for the region. The individual will manage Human Resource programs that support business objectives and will help develop strategic direction.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist in the development of regional human resource policies and programs that contribute to the retention, motivation, and development of employees capable of meeting current and future organizational needs and objectives, in collaboration with the Global COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and L&D).
  • Support the annual talent review processes and work with business leaders to ensure that effective talent development plans are executed.
  • Train managers to develop OKR /s.m.a.r.t. business & Personal Development objectives which improve business performance. Drive the adoption of OKR methodology throughout the DACH region.
  • Provide support and assistance to other functions and operating units of the Regional & Global organization.
  • Assist in the evaluation of the company culture via use of the Global Employee Survey.
  • Develop and embed initiatives that drive engagement for the region.
  • Be a trusted advisor, thoughtful sounding board and business partner to the organizations’ senior leadership team, functioning as the expert of people and organizational issues.

Learning And Development COE (Astound Academy)
  • Working closely with the Enterprise L&D CofE (Astound Academy).
  • Develop & embed L&D initiatives which improve our employee experience.
  • Identify & promote opportunities for informal learning, & learning through networks.
  • Help to plan & organise conferences, team building, & learning events.
Total Rewards COE
  • Work with Total Rewards COE to ensure that rewards systems and compensation design meet critical business requirements.
  • Work with business leaders to ensure effective deployment of annual rewards including merits, bonuses, recognition, and stock option grants.
  • Further develop existing appraisal process & guidelines employee base.
Talent Acquisition COE
  • In collaboration with the Global Talent Acquisition team, work with DACH leadership to deliver appropriate resources with the right skills and knowledge for both today’s work needs and future challenges.
  • Ensure the global hiring process is followed and contribute in the change management, agencies collaboration and external talents contracting where needed.
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidate will be a credible HR professional with strong generalist experience. The incumbent has substantial employee relations experience, negotiating and managing relationships at the most senior & executive levels with a demonstrable record of service improvement, delivery & achievement.
  • Fluent in English and German, additional language skills would be beneficial
  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent related emphasis a plus
  • 7 years related experience in Human Capital/Human Resource Management role in relevant sector
  • Pan-European HR experience and knowledge of country specific hiring and contracting practices highly desirable
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishments in leading people, developing strategic plans, managing projects, and developing HR initiatives
  • Solid understanding of performance measurement and experience in a metrics driven environment, fast paced environment preferably in a Experience in IT Services, Consulting, Technology or Hi Tech company
  • Strong communication skills with ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public both written and verbal in all departments, on a global scope
  • Facilitator, able to manage different opinions and priorities in a positive manner and achieve successful resolutions for all parties concerned.
  • Prepared to actively work as part of a team
  • Strong Analytical Skills, proficient with G-Suite
  • Remains objective when dealing with employees, customers and consistently demonstrates empathy
