Head of Sales, Marketing & Customer Care (m/f/d)

Your role in our team

As Head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care, you are responsible for one of the key departments of Hauni Digital. You create and deliver success, generating value for the company and sustaining growth of orders and sales, with marketing and customer care focus, in the tobacco market and other industries.

With Your Expertise In Leveraging Digital Solutions, Services And Technologies, While Reporting To The Executive Vice President Of Hauni Digital, You Will Drive And Lead In The Following Areas

  • Leading the creation of sales and marketing journeys towards lean and digital transformation and operational excellence
  • Accelerating value-oriented selling activities of the digital portfolio at multiple customer levels, up to executive and management levels (including direct activities in C-Suite selling)
  • Defining business development priorities, building and promoting strategies to provide and sell digital solutions and services, from RfI/RfQs or initial lean-oriented consulting and engagement steps, up to long-term contracts and customer care, along complex value and supply chains
  • Developing strong and trustful relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Gathering key intelligence by understanding and tackling hands-on technical aspects and inspiring opportunities
  • Ensuring and supporting growth of business pipelines, providing insights on solutions and features that can guarantee long-term customer satisfaction
  • Overlooking all commercial aspects as well end-to-end orders and sales plans and budgets, setting and tracking KPIs, targets and other relevant figures

Your profile

You have at least 10 years of professional experience, developed working in various demanding environments (ICT & tech industry, management consultancy, process or discrete manufacturing companies), with a respective educational background (Engineering, ICT, Computer Science, Business and adjacent).

The following background and qualifications are crucial for success in your role:

  • Proven track record of understanding, consulting and acting in fast-paced digital ecosystems
  • Extensive experience in B2B selling of industrial applications, software and digital solutions, with successful business and revenue models, achieving commercial success
  • Visionary and goal-oriented ways of thinking, with self-drive and commitment, also thanks to a natural hands-on attitude
  • Recognized seniority and competence in international market dynamics and trends in Lean and Digital domains
  • Tech savvy and passionate for technologies, innovations, tools and platforms
  • Sound quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to quickly elaborate insights from data and set strategies
  • Methodical experience in the areas of co-creation and agile project and program management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create trust and followership in matrix organization
  • Fluency in German and English, other languages are a plus
