YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer (m/f/x) to join our in-house IT-team. At fitvia you will drive the further development and optimization of our webshops to improve UX and use modern BI tools to enable data-driven marketing.

  • Further develop features for our highly-frequented fitvia and bellavia webshops with a focus on UX (especially for mobile users) and shop automation
  • Drive the optimization of our highly scalable web architecture
  • Enhance our testing strategy by concentrating on test automation (Unit, Integration, E2E)
  • Setup, maintain and improve our CI/CD pipeline
  • Operate and continuously improve the statistics and analytics foundation for our BI platform using ETL processes
  • Apply clean code principles and guidelines to ensure a high-quality code
WHAT HELPS YOU TO SUCCEED
  • Profound experience in Web Development of high-performance Online-Shops or with Content-Management-Systems (ideally Wordpress and WooCommerce) by:
    • Showing very good skills in PHP7, HTML5, CSS3, SASS and Javascript (ES6) as well as jQuery
    • Using external APIs and protocols (e.g. REST, SOAP, JSON)
    • Administrating and optimizing relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, Amazon Aurora)
    • Having a good understanding of scalable and high-performance software architectures (e.g. Caching, CDN, DB-clusters)
  • Familiarity with git and agile software development processes
  • Good understanding of test automation methods
  • Good knowledge of BI activities (ETL processes, Data modelling, SQL)
