ABOUT THE TEAM

Numbers run the business: In the Finance Department, we see ourselves as a business partner and enabler for our operating teams and management. We facilitate a smart corporate and financial strategy with technical expertise across accounting, regulatory, tax and strategic financial planning & analysis, allowing Trade Republic to make educated decisions at every step. We believe in the power of numbers and the story they tell.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor and grow with a small team into a best-in-class accounting organization
• You will execute operational accounting processes and assist in the preparation of our monthly, quarterly and annual financials, taking
• Responsibility for dedicated topics with a high degree of independence
• Continuously improve operational accounting processes
• You will have touch-points across the organization with internal stakeholders and external partners

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Initial professional experience in operational accounting, audit and / or comparable positions
• Experience in financial services / banking sectors or a startup will be a plus
• Good knowledge of HGB, IFRS accounting principles
• Reliable with high attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization
• Internal communication among the team can be in English, however, some German proficiency is required
