The Field Readiness Architect, Workday Studio integrations & Authentication will be the subject matter expert for all integration resources in the Workday services ecosystem.

​Field Readiness is the team at Workday tasked with designing, deploying and communicating best practices for implementing Workday out to the ecosystem of Workday and partner consultants.

The Field Readiness Architect, Workday Studio integrations & Authentication is responsible for making sure that integrations consultants are equipped with the tools, knowledge and strategies to efficiently deploy Workday Studio integrations and appropriate Authentication mechanisms.

Core Competencies/Experiences
  • Workday technology competencies: expertise in and leadership around implementing Workday Studio
  • Workday technology competency; expertise in and leadership around implementing authentication mechanisms for end users and APIs, such as SSO, SAML, and OAUTH.
  • ​Consulting experience and competency with project implementations; experience in the field as a billable consultant working on integration deployments.
  • Understanding of project methodology concepts.
  • Background in presenting and creating presentation materials on a large scale with multiple audience types; background in training organizations (virtual, classroom, recorded, etc.).
  • ​Writing, editing and publishing competencies.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The Field Readiness Architect will provide expertise and leadership to the field through the following programs:
  • Product Lead Program
  • Knowledge Sharing Sessions
  • Product Release Update Certification Program
  • Altitude, Rising and Workday major events

Additionally, the Field Readiness Architect will be responsible for:
  • Assessing the need and creation of tools, templates, project plans, estimating tools and methodology documentation.
  • Managing the creation and maintenance of preconfigured assets to drive deployment efficiency.
  • Keeping up to date and providing feedback on feature designs, roadmaps, and deprecation plans; as well as development progress of Workday technologies.
  • Serving as an escalation point for deployment issues that the field deployment teams cannot address on their own or for which they need Product input.
  • Influencing product direction based on customer and deployment needs.

Requirements
  • 4 year College Degree or 6+ years of experience meeting above competencies
  • 3+ years deploying or supporting the Workday application
  • 1+ year(s) in a lead role, management role or in a role coaching others
  • Some travel required, approximately 10-20%
  • Proven track record of consulting on complex product areas for customers
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
