As Field Application Engineer you will be responsible for the design-win of environmental and 3D sensors with focus on European Sensor & IoT markets. In addition, the management of projects together with our Regional Marketing and Sales, Distribution partners as well as the technical community (PAE/SAE) to achieve joint design-in goals, is part of your future job.
In your new role you will:
  • Consult our customers in the selection of sensor solutionsbased on technological differences and application requirements
  • Establish and maintain excellentrelationship with customersas well as with the distribution FAE and Sales teams
  • Support our activities during events, trainings, or end-customer/distribution seminars
  • Derive customer requirements and future application trends to develop system propositionstogether with System and Application Engineering teams
  • Define new products and derivativesin close cooperation with our innovative customers in EMEA and our internal System and Application Engineering teams

You have a strong drive with a pro-active and autonomous behavior. You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and anticipate even the future needs of our customers and balance the customer’s requirements and the interests of Infineon.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physicsor similar fields
  • 6 years of professional experience of which 3-5 years’ working experiencein Applications Engineering and in technical field customer support
  • Experienced with developing own design validations,with ECU layouts and PCB designs is an advantage
  • Knowledge in following Sensor Products desired: barometric Pressure, MEMS Microphone, 24/60GHz Radar, PAS CO2
  • First experiences in Software Development would be a plus
  • Analytical and complex problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German
