Responsibilities of the role:
- Be the key account manager and first person of contact for our top customers.
- Closely manage and develop relationships with our key customers in addition to the existing account manager. This happens mostly at the customers’ premises.
- Playing a key role in developing and implementing strategic account management.
- Be the driving force to drive further website revenue growth for our customers by pro-actively consulting our hotel customers on a regular basis.
- Closely work with account managers to align on the direction of development of customer relationship.
- Become the main representative of MHS in the German speaking market and improve the image of MHS even further.
- Represent MHS on industry events, give presentations, participate in panels.
- Support the sales team in closing deals by getting involved as a convincing expert in pitch situations and demos.
- Find creative solutions to requests of prospects to buy our services.
- Contribute to refining our go-to-market strategy.
- Contribute with customer input to our product roadmap.
Prerequisites:
- 5+ years’ experience in managing customer relationships on an operational and strategic level and a proven track record of success.
- Experience in building long-standing client relationships.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- In depth knowledge and experience of e-commerce and digital marketing techniques
- 3+ years’ experience in the hotel industry, preferably in e-commerce, digital marketing, or revenue management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High level of empathy and reliability.
- Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week, mostly in the DACH region.
- Intrinsic motivation for public relations activities.
- High consulting competence and ability to present complex issues in a smooth way.
