Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a curious, high-judgment, and self-motivated marketer to join the Operations Internal Communications team in Europe. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will support project management, production, and publishing of email, web, and digital communications to Amazon Operations employees across owned internal channels. To be successful, you should be able to manage multiple projects, produce communications according to defined timelines and templates, and own ongoing tasks related to Operations projects or campaigns. A track record of on-time delivery of projects coupled with the ability to operate independently and autonomously are key to the success of this role.

Key job responsibilities
  • Provide project management and production support for daily and weekly communications
  • Maintain and build distribution lists and resources
  • Own communication ticketing, permissions, and daily administrative tasks associated with owned channels and team processes
  • Develop and distribute templates and materials on owned internal channels
  • Provide on-call support as needed for distribution of urgent communications and issues on owned internal channels
  • Provide ad hoc support for projects on the team related to communication tracking, measurement, and gathering feedback

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 2+ years of project management or communications experience
  • Experience within a multi-national company
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with communication production for large audiences on digital channels
  • Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Experience monitoring metrics to measure effectiveness, reach and engagement
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Willing to get work done, even when at times it’s outside the scope of the job
  • Editing and development of basic HTML in existing templates
  • Knowledge of email marketing principals and platforms (Pardot, Marketo, etc)
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
