We are looking for a passionate team worker with interest in a broad and exciting range of tasks with space for individual initiative to challenge the quality of Moticon’s customer service and customer support.

Your main task is to serve our business customers with excellent service, ranging from the purchase request to the setup of the products. Your tasks include answering questions about products, product presentations – both online and on site - as well as the preparation of sales quotations, order processing and tasks such as handling return shipments and technical support. Occasionally, you will be involved in customer projects in the fields of performance sports and clinical research and be asked to support such projects online or on site.

Active customer acquisition is not required. In all activities, you will have the full support of Moticon’s other team members from sales, development and logistics, which rests on clear and non-bureaucratic communication.

You will be primarily working from the office via telephone, email, and video conferencing, but you are also open to occasional national and international business trips. Due to Moticon’s international customer portfolio, good to excellent English skills are mandatory. You are able to communicate fluently in English or you are willing to acquire appropriate English skills quickly. Our offices are spacious and include individual work places and a state of the art live studio for online product presentations. In addition, you have access to an excellent IT infrastructure for customer relationship management and process control.

Requirements

Minimum qualification

  • High aptitude for professional communication with international Business customers, both in the area of customer inquiries and customer support.
  • Willingness to work in a small, distributed team with a high level of individual responsibility for operational excellence.
  • Knowledge in the fundamentals and in the application of biomechanical measurement methods for motion and load analysis as well as ability to comprehend and apply in-shoe measurement technology
  • Thinking in processes and the ability to familiarize with IT systems for customer service and ability to support continuous optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and to make informed decisions within the scope of your responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the fields of exercise science, Sports Technology, Biomechanics or equivalent practical experience.
  • Language skills German B2/C1 and English B1 in spoken and written.


Preferred qualification

  • Experience with in-shoe measurement systems.
  • Experience with customer service in a technology industry.
  • Strong interest in sales processes and building new customer relationships.
  • Fluent English, equivalent to level C1 or higher, both written and spoken.

Working hours & travel activity

Core working hours from 9:00 to 15:00 with free working hours by arrangement.

Availability for customer appointments and for processing purchase inquiries as needed also outside the core working hours, especially for our customers from Asia (in the morning) and the US (in the evening). Limited domestic and international travelling may be required while the primary work place is in the office

Benefits

We offer an attractive salary for the start between 40.000 € and 55.000 € gross, depending on your level of qualification and experience. After a successful six-month training on the job period, a pre-fixed salary increase will be introduced. For the following years, we offer the opportunity for above-average salary development, consisting of individual components and such related to the overall company success.
