Your responsibilities:
- Work on projects around new business areas (e-mobility, heating) that develop new products/services and integrate these into the business
- Apply customer-centric design methods and tools to prototyping, developing, and validating new business opportunities to ensure fit with user needs and (future) market opportunities
- Lead user research as part of the innovation process: analysis of customer behavior and user needs, conducting interviews, testing value propositions, etc.
- Collaborate with relevant internal digital and customer experience functions to ensure seamless customer experience of new products/services and fit to existing digital products
- Analyze developments and customer trends regarding the future of energy and identify innovative business opportunities to further expand the sonnen home energy product offering
- Support Central Intelligence Hub in customer and partner research and analyses
Your profile:
- A university degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in the formulation and execution of innovation and ideation strategies (e.g., design thinking, business model canvas, etc.) – preferably also in consulting or an innovative start-up
- Ability to recognize new business opportunities related to new solutions, ideas, and growth opportunities
- Product management experience also covering new service & digital business models (e.g. subscription models, SaaS, platforms) is a plus
- Passionate about building products users love - deep knowledge on understanding their behavior, needs and pain points and experience with addressing those
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
- Strong English and German language skills
- Be excited and motivated to transform the energy sector
