What you will be responsible for
As Collateral Operations and Oversight Specialist, Associate 2 you will be
- Overseeing Collateral operations activities outsourced to other State Street locations
- Performing operational activities such as margining, collateral settlement, reconciliations or dispute resolution
- Collaborating with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues and exceptions
- Contributing as subject matter expert to change processes and internal projects
- Working together with clients and other internal/external parties to improve and enhance processes
- Supporting audits, risk assessments and compliance initiatives by providing relevant data as well as new ideas

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree with a focus on business and financial topics or comparable apprenticeship
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within collateral management, operations oversight and/or client services
- Knowledge of financial instruments and the regulatory framework in regards to Collateral industry (e.g. EMIR)
- Proficiency in English and German
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
