Cozero is a Berlin-based ClimateTech startup that transforms every company into a low-emission business. Our SaaS platform offers a fully digital end-to-end Carbon Action Platform (CAP) to track, forecast, and manage corporate emission data and most effectively match them to low-emission solutions on the market to reduce their carbon footprint. Based on our platform, carbon reduction becomes actionable. Become part of a ClimateTech startup empowering companies to master their path to carbon neutrality. Tasks
  • Generate widespread awareness of Cozero and begin to demystify the process getting to net-zero
  • Strategizing of content creation and its delivery to establish Cozero as the new standard for corporate carbon management
  • Managing marketing growth, tracking metrics that influence content strategy etc.
  • Advance Cozero in terms of thought leadership by developing articles, whitepapers, eBooks & webinars
  • Creating substantive stories about our customers, and supporting them in making their own decarbonization announcements.
  • Develop marketing assets for sales enablement such as case-studies, fact sheets, etc.
  • Fast-track Cozero’s digital marketing for website, email marketing, and outreach content
  • Channel marketing & communication insights into the development of our product
  • Establish and manage key partnerships for marketing & communication
  • Stay up-to-date with the dynamics of the emission management ecosystem
  • Company building: We are just getting started at Cozero, and we are looking for folks with a bias to action, who can take on many hats and are motivated to build the most amazing things for our customers, employees and the general public
Requirements

You should excel in:
  • Sharp writing and editing skills based on strong editorial, marketing, and SEO content experience
  • Understand the needs of companies and how to address them effectively
  • By nature you are decoding complex matters: you are thinking & communicating with clarity - and you are thinking fast
  • High capacity for building compelling messages
  • Confident on the marketing tech stack Cozero should be using, and how to run effective demand generation and digital campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in English & German
  • Sound understanding of environmental & sustainability challenges for SMEs and multinationals
Additional:
  • University degree and/or substantial experience in the fields of Journalism, Writing, Marketing or the like
  • Ability to work structured & independently in a fast-paced international team environment
  • Bias for taking responsibility - bias for action. You have a track record of doing whatever it takes to get things done. You have accomplished things that others thought were impossible. You are ceaselessly creative and impactful.
  • Strong professional networks with marketing & sustainability practitioners

How does the interview process look like?

The process follows the same procedure for every candidate: getting to know team members through three to four conversations about Cozero, your experience, and your interests. As part of the process, we usually run through a skills screening (e.g. a coding challenge for a developer, a case challenge for a carbon accounting expert, a portfolio discussion for a designer). A final reference call with a former colleague / manager of yours gives additional insight into your needs and wishes that we aim to factor in for your personal development plan. We emphasize transparency and the absence of surprise throughout the process.
