What Awaits You
As a Biostatistician (m/f/d) you will support the Pharma Technical Development department in applying statistical methods to develop and characterize production processes in the best possible way.
You will be part of a team of 9 people - the Datalab. The team assists with statistical planning and analysis of experimental data sets. It also develops data products that facilitate and accelerate the development of our production processes. We network with all development functions and proactively seek solutions that increase their efficiency. We strive for agile implementation of these solutions and expect engagement within our self-organized projects.
You will perform and support the following duties:
- Design and analysis of experiments to optimize production processes and develop efficient biotechnological processes
- Support in the analysis and interpretation of process data (e.g. multivariate data evaluations, chemometric evaluations, root cause analysis)
- Development of new statistical methods and machine learning algorithms for commercial applications
- Supporting regulatory submissions of new molecules for the marketplace
- Training in statistics and data analysis for engineers and scientists
- Advance statistical thinking and decision making in engineering development

For this position, it is best to bring the following:
- You have at least 4 years of professional experience, industry or academia, in the practical application of statistical methods in the analysis of complex data sets
- You have a degree with doctorate as mathematician, statistician, data scientist or natural scientist (m/f/d) with additional statistical qualification
- You are familiar with evaluation and programming with JMP, SAS or R
- Basic knowledge of other programming languages (e.g. Python, Javascript) is helpful
- You have basic knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology and oncology
- Good English skills complete your profile
