About the role
As a Battery Algorithm Developer, you work on the development of the software which is controlling the high voltage batteries in multiple different customer vehicles. You are part of an expert team of system, hard- and software engineers on battery management systems which are among the world-leading ones regarding safety, features and costs.
Your future tasks at a glance
- Conception of advanced data analysis solutions using machine learning / deep learning techniques and state / parameter estimation methods for battery pack data
- Preparation and organization of structured and unstructured battery data for further analysis in our data pipeline infrastructure
- Development and realization of software pipelines for deploying new data analytics services in Kubernetes based cloud environments
- Continuous refinement of existing data analysis methods and their integration into our CI/CD tool landscape
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed university degree in electrical / control engineering, technical cybernetics, physics, mathematics or a similar field
- Ideally more than 2 years of working experience in software engineering (Python, C/C++)
- Profound understanding of modeling and state estimation of technical and/or physical dynamical systems
- Expertise with simulation environments, machine-learning frameworks and/or optimization techniques in relevant programming languages like Python or C/C++
- Self-motivation, the willingness and tenacity to carry out individual projects and the resilience not to be discouraged by setbacks
- Ideally knowledge in the field of battery algorithms and applicable tools
- Ideally hands-on experience using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), Apache Spark, Docker and Kubernetes
- Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English and German preferred)
