We are looking for an Avionic System & Communication Engineer (f/m/d) for the department "Electrical Engineering & AIT support" in Bremen for our customer, one of the largest European aerospace companies.

Your responsibilities:
- Electrical engineering for components und architectures to be applied in launcher systems
- Analyses of customer requirements
- Writing of technical documentation e.g. support to project plans, development and verification documents, subsystem and/or test specifications, interface documents
- Definition and compatibility analysis of electrical interfaces and related documentation e.g., Interface Control Documents
- Electrical Interface analysis and budget calculation
- Dimensioning and specification of data handling systems
- Assessment and definition of communication protocols
- Support for configuration management
- Support for Reviews/Audits with customer or subcontractor
- Planning and Managing of Avionics Design, Development, Manufacturing and Test activities
- Participation and conduction of test campaigns, elaboration of test reports and test synthesis
- Establishment and conduction of technical presentations towards customers and agencies
You bring the following knowledge and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics or similar
- At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant field such as:
- Experience in the domain of data handling systems and bus topologies for satellites and/or launchers
- Assessment and definition of communication protocols, estimation of bus loads
- Expertise in redundancy concepts and management
- Definition and assessment of EMC and FDIR requirements and tests
- Usage of requirements engineering tools e.g. DOORS for requirements specification and tracing
- A communicative manner and enjoy of teamwork
- Business fluent in English
- Basic knowledge of German
- French language skills are a plus
