Samsung SDI Europe GmbH is a subsidiary of Samsung SDI and Part of Samsung Group in South Korea. Samsung SDI is one of the major suppliers of lithium-ion batteries worldwide. Since 2010 Samsung SDI is the global market leader in Li-ion technology. We deliver customer specific solutions for the future of e-mobility, large electrical storage systems, renewable energy and mobile, digital consumer products and power-tools.

To support our fast growing Li-Ion battery business in Europe we are looking for a new member in Braunschweig or Ismaning (close to Munich) as

Automotive Customer Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Apply your experience to develop battery business and be part of the industrial transformation towards a sustainable and electrified automotive business
  • Accompany and support the customer (OEM) from a technical orientated perspective especially from acquisition to market launch
  • Strategic management of and participation in interdisciplinary project teams
  • Form the interface between project teams, customer and other project participants

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience within a relevant field, i.e. business development, consulting or customer management
  • Solid experiences of the EV market
  • Excellent communication skills and cross cultural competencies (including experiences in working with Korean and Chinese colleagues, customers or clients)
  • Business Fluent in English and Swedish and ability to travel
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Open minded thinking
