Your Role: As an Associate Sourcing Manager Inorganic Basics (all genders) you will be part of our company’s global Group Procurement organization. Dedicated to the procurement unit Chemicals (a business of Life Science) you will manage the 3rd party direct spend and supply security of selected Inorganic Chemical categories. You will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality and Regulatory to develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials and finished goods with a primary focus supporting EMEA, especially Darmstadt, Germany. Additionally, you will drive supplier management activities such as negotiations and contracting, supplier qualifications, conduct supplier business reviews and evaluations, support sustainability and innovation activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Biology etc.), Business Administration or equivalent
- 1+ years’ experience with supplier interaction in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or new product development
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, time-sensitive environment
- Strong relationship building skills and experience working in cross functional teams
- Business fluent German & English skills written and spoken
