Summary
- Customer-focused attitude with excellent customer service skills. Typically requires 3+ years of (Current) Unix System Administration experience in a large compute environment (or similar), e.g. EDA, Finance, Special Effects/Animation, Oil & Gas, Scientific Research or R&D environments. In addition, you will have sophisticated knowledge in the following:
- GUI based software/protocols: VNC, X11
- Shell environment knowledge (bash, tcsh)
- Knowledge of scripting e.g. Shell, Perl or Python (preferred)
- Knowledge of Mac OSX is helpful
- Knowledge of large scale storage environments is advantageous, e.g. NetApp or Pure clustered storage
- Knowledge and experience with monitoring tools is advantageous
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
